Amity university established in year 2008 and is approved by ugc accredited with an " A+ " Grade by the NAAC but it is not accredited with indian council of agricultural research.it is not easy to meet the standards of icar for private university.
Dear aspirant hope you are doing great, congratulations for securing such a good rank. You haven't mentioned your category, in ap eamcet only 5 colleges have icar certification. Remaining 6 private colleges doesn't have icar certification. For getting seat in government colleges for general category cutoff is below 3k . If you are belongs to sc Or st category with farmer quota then only you have the chances to get ag seat in icar approved college.

Andhra Pradesh has 1 well-known ICAR of agricultural state which is Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University, Guntur, AP, founded in 1964, is one of the most famous agricultural universities in India.
ANGRAU has a total of 10 colleges (5 in agriculture, 2 in Agricultural Engineering, 2 in Food Science and 1 in Home Science) and 8 in Agricultural Polytechnics.
