As per the law, Universities do not require AICTE approval for conducting Technical Programs. Only technical institutions which are affiliated with Universities require approval. As ICFAI University, Dehradun is a self-financed University established under Dehradun State Act, it does not require AICTE approval. This standing of law was notified in the Supreme Court Judgment dated 24th September 2001.

ICFAI University, Tripura is a private Deemed to be University which is a NAAC B+ accredited and UGC approved. The admission to the BTech courses are provided on the basis of TJEE , JEE Main . The BTech courses offered are-
The university have quite a good infrastructure and academic records. There are well specialized faculty members in each department and the curriculum is quite good. The placement rate for most of the branches is around 72% and for branches such as ECE, CSE course is around 90%. The average package offered is around Rs. 6LPA CTC.

It's clearly written on the website that In case a student decides to withdraw from the program after enrollment, the fee paid will be refunded after deducting the admission fee and the cost of courseware supplied . Withdrawal requests received after 30 days of enrollment are not entertained and no refund will be given.

Hope you are doing great. So as per this comparison MREC have an edge over ICFAI as per placement side so as per my opinion you should go with MREC.
When deciding which college is best for you, you should compare the placements, study spaces, and infrastructure offered by each institution. Therefore, the Malla Reddy Main Campus According to their officials, they had good, highly qualified professors in addition to good infrastructure. Additionally, according to their placement, their average CTC package is 3LPA, while their highest package is 7LPA. For hiring, organizations like Google, Infosys, etc. came here.
According to reviews, ICFAI had a good infrastructure and professors who were highly qualified. According to placement, the highest CTC package offered by the marketing firm was 10 LPA, with an average CTC package of 2LPA. Companies like Pay Matrix, BYJUS, and others came here to hire.
