To answer your question, you cannot get admission in IIM Ahmedabad after your HSC exams. You need to at least complete your graduation, only after which you are eligible to give CAT, and get into IIM Ahmedabad,  considering you clear all the required criteria.

Keeping in mind, both K J Somaiya Institute of Management, and IIM Amritsar both are really good colleges, in my opinion, IIM Amritsar would be the better option.

Though K J Somaiya's Highest package(26.5 LPA) is more than IIM Amritsar's(25.21 LPA). IIM Amritsar's average placement(14.63 LPA) is better than the other(10.59 LPA).

Also one of the most important quality you get in an IIM is it's brand. There is no doubt that IIM Amritsar has a brand much stronger than the other.

To answer your question, YES, your work experience counts even if it is before graduation. As long as it is full time, and is more than a year, it is considered, and obviously plays in your favor during the selection process of IIM's.

IPMAT (Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test) is an accreditation received entrance exam for entry to a five-year integrated program in management at an Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore.

As per the IPMAT eligibility standards established by the administering body, aspirants must have qualified for their 10th or SSC and 12th or HSC or comparable exams with 60 per cent or more marks. IPMAT 2022 will be administered in a computer-based mode in numerous test centres in India. Sure the marks of secondary, senior secondary and graduation are alloted marks while considering for the procedure of IIM's, though if your profile and resume are good and well rounded and is supplemented by a great CAT percentile you would surely increase your chances of selection.
