Subhalaxmi Biswal 21st May, 2022
Hello Aspirant,

This institution is run by the Govt. of India. It accepts the central EWS certificate. IITs are regulated centrally by the IITs' Council, an apex group solidified by the Government of India.
The Minister of Human Resource & Development, Government of India, is the head of the administration. Each Institute possesses a Board of Governors accountable for its all-around management and supervision.

I hope it helps.

My Brother is from Uttar Pradesh. He has opportunities from both IIM TRICHY and IIM KASHIPUR. Kashipur is closer to home, but he doesnt want to miss if Trichy better. Please suggest what would be a better choice!

piyush singh 17th May, 2022

Hello ,

I would suggest your brother to go for IIM( Indian Institute of Management ) Trichy(Tiruchirappalli ) as it is definitely a better IIM than IIM Kashipur as according to NIRF rankings  IIM Trichy is at 17 where as IIM Kashipur is at 33 so you can see the huge difference , also IIM Kashipur is a very new IIM in comparison to Trichy .

Your brother should choose a better college than the one which is closer to home .The placement scenario of Trichy is much better than Kashipur .

Hope this helps.

Sudip Bandopadhyay 28th Jun, 2022

Hello Sanjana,

Hope you are doin well !

To answer your query, YES you can give CAT 2022, and get admission in an IIM (depending on your percentile) as well as XAT 2023.

As, you will be a graduate in August 2023, you can give CAT, and XAT and start your B-school from the same year of graduation.

Hope my answer was helpful. Please let me know in case of any other queries.
