my son got merit rank of 87 in IPMAT indore ug program. is there any chance to get admission in iim Indore ug program

shreyakhedkar05 22nd Aug, 2021
Hello,

Cutoff depends on various factors like the total number of students who appeared, the difficulty level of the exam, marking scheme, a number of seats available, previous year cut-off, and the performance of the candidates.
The minimum cutoff for each section differs for every category.
IPMAT 2021 cutoff is expected to be higher as compared to last year.
For the general category, IPMAT cutoff for IIM Indore for Quantitative aptitute(SA) was 25, Quantitative Aptitude(MCQ) was 28 and for verbal ability was 72.

For NC OBC category for quantitative aptitude(SA) was 12, for Quantitative aptitude (MCQ) was 20 and for verbal ability was 38.

For SC category for Quantitative aptitude(SA) was 7, Quantitative aptitude (MCQ) was 12 and verbal ability was 32.

For ST category for Quantitative aptitude (SA) was 4, for Quantitative aptitude(MCQ) was 5 and for verbal ability was 16.
This year there might be slight changes in the cutoff and there  won't be much difference.
Hope this will help, All the best.!!

how to crack ipmat indore and rohtak in one week considering that ones prep is weak?

chandni deb 8th Jul, 2021

Dear Aspirant,

a week is a little too less for the preparation of IPMAT, however, with the efficient use of time and correct methods of studying, there is a good chance you will be able to prepare considerably for the examination.

  • Make efficient use of your time
  • Do not lose heart and stay constantly motivated and determined
  • Make a study plan for each day and stick to it strictly
  • Be thorough with the exam syllabus and pattern
  • Do not learn any new concepts or topics and rather focus on the topics you have learned and revise them
  • Make a list of all the important formulas and practice them daily
  • Solve and practice as it is the most efficient method of preparation
  • Solve previous years question papers
  • Try to identify similar questions asked in the previous year question papers, and be confident with the answers for the same

Karam Vir 3rd Jul, 2021

Hey,

If you do not own a caste certificate and want to avail the reservation criteria, first of all, it is mandatory for you to own a caste certificate. You can apply for the same with the necessary documents in your state. Do remember that your caste certificate should be in the format prescribed by the AP EAMCET exam. If you do not own a certificate for the AP EAMCET, you will be placed under the general category for the AP EAMCET exam.

susanna.maryb 18th Jun, 2021

Hello Arpita,

IPMAT tests your quantitative and verbal abilities. So if you are not into mathematics you will find it difficult. But you could find and practice mock tests. It would heavily depend on your interest in the subject. Check out the link below to know more about IPMAT.
