Do i get IIsc Banglore with 96.2 percentile OBC with an expected CRL rank 29k? and im a boy
Hello,
As you scored 96.2 percentile , i would recommend you to kindly opt for NITS/IIITs /GFTI's rather than taking admission into this college. Because the cut off for this college is very high .
You need to KVPY for the enrollment of the B.Tech course and your rank should be under 400 being from obc category.
However there are certain conditions that needs to be considered such as :-
- Choices filled by the candidates
- Number of applicants in the examination
- Number of seats in the college
- Toughness level of the paper
can a Mechanical Engineer Graduate givs CEED exam as eligiblity for M.Des Product Design and Manufacturing (IISc Banglore).
Hello,
Mdes is an excellent degree for creative people, and your job and compensation will improve as a result. You can, in fact, apply for MDES.
You must succeed in the CEED, an annual design entry test. The majority of Indian schools, including NITs and IITs, accept CEED scores as proof of eligibility for MDes.
A select few universities, like IIT Kanpur and IISC Bangalore , also accept GATE scores. Engineering students have a second opportunity to apply for MDes without having to submit a CEED score.
BE, BTech, BDes, or BArch with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50 percent (pass grades for SC/ST) are required.
GATE / CEED score (70 percent weighting) with an online design aptitude test and an interview make up the IISc Bangalore selection process (30 percent weightage).
Good Luck!!
what is the minimum percentage should I score in jee 2022 to get iisc banglore. my caste is sc, do crl rank really matters?
Dear aspirant,
The marks that you have to score in JEE can't be said for sure as the rank versus marks keep varying based on the difficulty level of the paper. Yet, based on previous year trends, a crl of 15K - 20K will help you get into IIT. For getting this rank usually, one should get a mark above 130 out of 300. CRL does not matter but your category rank matters and that is what will decide your chances of getting admission into IISc.
Hope this helps.

which was more difficult for you getting into IISC Banglore Or IIT?
hey there
Admission in IISc Bangalore is on the basis of the KVPY examination mostly in which 40-50 thousand students participate and only few seats from JEE Advance.
IIT admits students on the basis of JEE Advanced, which is considered to be one of the toughest exams.
Is CEED/GATE score is mandatory for CPDM DAT Exam, I want to know the procedure to take admission in Center for Product Development and Manufacturing IISc, Banglore.
Hello aspirant,

With reference to yoru above mentioned query, i would like to tell you that yes, the CEED/GATE scores are mandatory for CPDM DAT exam .
CPDM IISc. Eligiblity for admission to M Des programme is a basic degree in engineering or architecture. Selection for admission is based on performance in a design aptitude test (DAT) and interview conducted at the centre. Shortlisting for DAT is done on the basis of appliacant's CEED or GATE score .

I am much interested in the study of Physics, especially, astronomy / cosmology / astrophysics. Which is/are the best institution(s) in India or across the globe for me to go for? And how can I ?
First, I would advise you to pursue B.Sc./BS in Physics or BTech in Engineering Physics if youre into Engineering, from some of the best Central Universities or Technical Institutes in India. After Graduation, you may pursue Postgraduation in Astrophysics, either from India or Abroad followed by a Career in Industry, Research and Academia.
