As far as the overall placement of B.Tech in Electrical engineering is considered, the overall placement percentage is almost 75% for the academic session 2020-21. The highest package offered was 43 LPA CTC given by most of the non- core companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Sprinkler etc. Average package offered was 12 LPA CTC offered by many of non- core as well as Core Companies including PSUs like HPCL ( 14.4 LPA CTC ). The lowest package offered was 6 LPA CTC offered by many companies like L&T Constructions, Vedanta limited, Adani Industries, Aarti Industries, Aditya Birla, Tata steel Limited and many others. Very few from our batch were able to bagged internships offer as there were limited core companies visited our campus for internship opportunities and some of them were Tata Steel Limited, Tata Metaliks, Metso India limited, Bakers Hughes and many others.
I hope this information will be helpful for you.
All the best.
Hii Rajeev,
Hope you are doing good.
Well, 289 is a very secure and safe rank in JEE advanced.
Eligibility criteria for qualifying jee advanced:
Minimum 75% should have been secured in 12th standard (or equivalent) examination. For the SC/ST/PwD category, the aggregate marks is minimum 65% OR. The candidates should be within the top 20 category percentile of the qualifying examination.
Other than this, each every document should be clear and original. Even if you secure a good score in JEE advanced but there is some issue with the documents, it might lead to disqualification of your name.
So, I hope you got my point very well.
ASk if you have any further questions.
Best wishes ahead.

Hi
Considering placement scenario JU ECE is better option than IIT Dhanbad Chemical or Civil.
you should go for JU until you do not have interest in Chemical or Civil field.
Hope it helps
Congratulations on getting such good college and branch options. I will give you a preference list which will comprise of all these factors:
The preference order you should consider is:
As a branch considering the current scenario and employability status I would suggest going for Chemical engineering because of the following factors:
I would also like to add here that an engineering course should be very much taken with an interest in the field so I would suggest you to consider that factor and if you are not aware of the branches mentioned look them up on the internet more reliable will be to go through the syllabus on the respective colleges' website. An interest in the field is the key factor in deciding how your 4 years of college will be and what opportunities you will land for yourself.
Good luck, hope it helps!!
