There is no provision for lateral entry in IIT.

You can give Jee main entrance exam in order to qualify for the Admission.

No, benefit as such.There is no special provision or advantage todiplomaholderafter a 3-year course or even if one has any job experience. The candidates with adiploma haveto follow the same process like the candidates who passed 12th, foradmission in IIT.You will get admission in first year.
