The allotment of seats in IITs are done on the basis of the All India Rank in JEE Advanced. The person has to pass the Architecture Aptitude Test which is conducted only in IITs.

According to the candidates appearing for Advanced exam 2020, difficulty of paper, number of seats allocated, the cut off will be released. According to the cut off percentile in JEE Advance 2019 for SC candidate is 49-63, for this percentile you should score 28-37 marks(tentative).

The IIT's do not offer admission in BE or B.Tech courses through lateral entry. There is no provision for admission to diploma holders or first year dropouts in IITs wherein they could be able to get direct entry into the second year of the 4 year degree programme.
