Veeresh, there are around 11279 seats to be filled in the 23 IITs through JEE Advanced exam in 2020. Out of this, 27% seats are reserved for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, 5% for PwD, 4% for Gen-EWS (as in 2019-2020 session) and 2 seats are under defense

There is a school of interdisciplinary in IIT Delhi. We can choose subjects of multiple disciplines. But there is no such course like mechatronics offered in IIT Delhi. Coming to NIT's, non of the NIT's offer such course till now.

For UG, you have to qualify JEE advance with good rank and score. You can use your categorical ranks and general ranks  to get an admission if it satisfies the cutoff range.  To appear Jee advance, you have to appear jee mains and qualify it b satisfying the cutoff
