Do jee 2022 apsirants need more than 75% in boards to get admission in IITs, NITs and IIITs even if 75% criteria is removed from JEE Mains and JEE Adv (as its written that you need to PASS class 12 with pcm and nothing about 75% marks is mentioned in the brochure under the admission section....?!?

Anurag Khanna 25th Apr, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

Yes it is right, there is no need to have 75% in 10+2 to be eligible for admission to NITs/IIITs/CFTIs/IITs , what you need is just to pass class 12th with PCM combination and then you can appear for JEE-Main and JEE-Advance if you qualify JEE-Main..

Hi Aspirant!

NTA has removed the  75% criteria from the minimum eligibility norms as per the recent JEE MAINS 2022 notification, available on  jeemain.nta.nic.in

However, for BArch, it is necessary to have atleast 50% in Physics, Chemistry and mathematics as well as 50% aggregate in qualifying examination. Top 2,50,000 successful
