Ishan Katoch 14th Jan, 2024

Hi Soma !

Here are some exams that generally have a minimum eligibility requirement of 60% in graduation and are open to female candidates:

  1. CAT (Common Admission Test): Conducted for admission to various management programs, including MBA.
  2. RBI Grade B Officer Exam: Conducted by the Reserve Bank of India for recruitment to Grade B officers.
  3. MAT (Management Aptitude Test): A national-level management entrance exam for admission to MBA programs.

Some exams may have specific quotas or relaxations for female candidates, so be sure to explore those opportunities.

Question : If $x:y=3:4$, then $4x+5y:5x–2y=?$

Option 1: $7:32$

Option 2: $32:7$

Option 3: $4:3$

Option 4: $5:2$

Team Careers360 24th Jan, 2024

Correct Answer: $32:7$

Solution : Given: $x:y=3:4$ --------------------------------(1)
Or, $\frac{x}{y}=\frac{3}{4}$
Now, $(4x+5y):(5x–2y)$
Dividing by $y$ in the numerator and the denominator, we get,
$[4(\frac{x}{y})+5]:[5(\frac{x}{y})–2]$
= $[4(\frac{3}{4})+5:5(\frac{3}{4})–2]$ (Putting the value of $\frac{x}{y}$ from equation 1)
= $(3+5):(\frac{15}{4}–2)$
= $8:(\frac{15–8}{4})$
= $8:\frac{7}{4}$
= $32:7$
Hence, the correct answer is $32:7$.

Hello,

You must have your bachelors, diploma or masters degree in any engineering-related field, such as civil, mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering. You can go for B.tech, BE, or dilpoma in engineering.

The Indian Railways has become a growing career option. There are jobs available in Group A, Group B, Group C, and Group D.

The candidates have to appear for the UPSC examination for Group A.

No examinations are conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board for the Group- B posts and are meant for promotions only.

The hiring for Group C is done by the RRB.

I hope this helps,

Thank you

Question : Directions: Select the set in which the numbers are related in the same way as the numbers of the following sets. (NOTE: Operations should be performed on the whole numbers, without breaking down the numbers into their constituent digits. E.g. 13 – operations on 13 such as adding/subtracting/multiplying etc. to 13 can be performed. Breaking down 13 into 1 and 3 and then performing mathematical operations on 1 and 3 is NOT allowed.)
(19, 23, 4)
(13, 27, 14)

Option 1: (25, 26, 2)

Option 2: (25, 27, 4)

Option 3: (25, 27, 2)

Option 4: (25, 26, 4)

Team Careers360 15th Jan, 2024

Correct Answer: (25, 27, 2)

Solution : Given:
(19, 23, 4)
(13, 27, 14)

Here, the pattern followed is as follows –
⇒ (19, 23, 4)→23 – 19 = 4
⇒ (13, 27, 14)→27 – 13 = 14

Let's check each option –
First option: (25, 26, 2)→26 – 25 = 1 ≠ 2
Second option: (25, 27, 4)→27 – 25 = 2 ≠ 4
Third option: (25, 27, 2)→27 – 25 = 2
Fourth option: (25, 26, 4)→26 – 25 = 1 ≠ 4

So, only the third option follows the same pattern as followed by the given set of numbers. Hence, the third option is correct.
