As the final merit is based on 75% of PUCET marks and 25% of 10+2 marks, your percentile is low. There are cutoff for different courses. Still there are less chances of admission in PU campus as your percentile is a bit low which comprises 75% of your merit.

PU will release the merit list on 25 June. The merit will be based on 75% of your marks in PUCET and 25% of your 10+2 marks. It totally depends on the cutoff of the course you want to apply. Your marks in boards are quite decent. Percentile in PUCET

surely you can change your branch of engineering after 1 year. but you need to score the cgpa / dgpa cutoff criteria as per the university rule. for example some university need 1st year cgpa of 8.5 to change branch. hope you have understand.
