Some colleges take admission in the mentioned programs on the basis of your performance in class 12th and possibly PI. However, some colleges conduct their own entrance test for admissions. For ex. St. Xavier’s Mumbai, Delhi University conduct their own entrance exam for admissions to BFM or BMS

Homi Bhabha national instritue does not offer any pure UG courses. It only offers a 5 yr Integrated MSc. You can't study BTech Chemical Engg there.
