UG means under graduate,it is done after passing class 12.

PG means post graduate which is done after you have completed your graduation.

I am afraid that most of the institute around the country required 50% atleast in your graduation and if you are in reserved category than you need to have atleast 45%. You can apply for faculty of law Delhi university if you fall under any category as it

first option is you can repeat your year for increase your percentage 

second option you can go for XAT entrance exam .

I have done my bachelors degree in Electrical from Kiit University with around 9 cgpa. Would it be better for me to appear for XAT or CAT?

For XLRI, you have to appear for XAT.You need to score 96 percentile and above to get a call for BM and 94 percentile and above for HRM. Besides you also need to clear sectional cut-offs.

AU releases it's cut offs for admission process in the regional newspapers. They don't update the cut off online. Keep yourself updated with the latest cut offs for the course in which you are willing to take the admissions and then take the admissions accordingly.
