I scored 84 percentile in CMAT and have 2 years of work experience and have passed X and XII with first division and scored 79 percent marks in graduation. So can I expect a call from Great lakes?

Srishti jha 6th Mar, 2020

Hello aspirant,

You got a good percentile in CMAT but there is a  less chance to get a call from Great lakes. As there is no official announcement from the college . Cut off is mainly depend upon the fact that how many number of candidates filled the form, how many candidates seated in the exam , level of difficulty of the questions and number of qualified candidates.

So my situation is this, i have 47% in graduation and got 80 percentile in XAT, so this is limiting my options for admissions in mba colleges. What should i do?

rehan18alam Student Expert 2nd Mar, 2020

Dear aspirant,

Yes this will limit your options for admission in MBA colleges as most of these MBA colleges look at past academic performance of the candidate. Your percentage will definitely be a hindrance in your admission into any top IIM college or XLRI.

You can always take admission in tier 2/3 management colleges.

Hope this helps. Thank you.

I got total 45% above in graduation , can I apply for cat

shivam ranjan 1st Mar, 2020

hello aspirant...

As you have scored only 45% marks which will not make you eligible for CA IPCC directly. There is rule in CA course that if one has got Graduation in commerce with 50% or Graduation in non commerce with 60% can directly apply for CA IPCC.

HOPE IT WOULD HAVE HELPED YOU

I failed class 11 so repeat it again...and due to depression I also failed in class 12 ...then I clear class 12 by nios board..in November...can I eligible for admission in graduation in govt. university...if I clear entrance exam...I feel very depressed....

Apoorva Student Expert 29th Feb, 2020

Hello dear student,

First of all it's completely fine if you failed in your previous class but it what is more important is that you come out of that and prove yourself. It's completely fine and don't give it away too much importance that it makes you feel sad. Just forget and move forward with the victory you have achieved.  And yes nios board is very much makes you eligible. It's parent organisation is ministry of Human resource and development. So if you give some government exam then there is no point to worry . It doesn't make anyone question or makes you less eligible.

I hope this helps

Thank you

Gate score 388 and 36.35 marks . Civil engineer, genreal category. 78% in graduation. can i get admission in bits or any of the iits or other than my specification that i can apply.

Aniket Sharma 8th Apr, 2020

hi asif,

If you are a general/obc candidate then there is no chance of getting into IITs. If you have SC/ST quota then you may expect a newer IITs. To get into BITS post- graduation programme, you can get it with the help of your BITS HD score. BITS HD is conducted by BITS for post graduation. For gate qualified candidates fees is 1000rs and for all other candidates fees if 3300rs. They BITS HD registration is still open till 27th april 2020. BITS HD will be conducted on 16th may and 23rd may. It is an online exam.

I hope this answer will help.

Also, it'll help you in descriptive writing part, interview and in the recent years, especially in English Section, RC has been taken directly from The Hindu and considering the vocabulary and the standard of language used here,it's comparatively tough for beginners to comprehend, so a daily habit of going through especially Editorials will increase your knowledge, vocabulary, reading speed etc.
