The minimum eligibility criterion required for the candidates is to possess a Bachelor's degree in English or relevant discipline from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate score of 60%. Admission to MA English is done on the basis of entrance tests. so you can do it either

Although UG marks matter a lot for the Top schools, you can alternatively look at other Bschools where placements and ROI is good. If you have work experience that usually adds points to your application as well as the exams you take, GMAT etc.

As per your marks in entrance test, you have high chances to get a seat in Sikkim Manipal University, Gangtok. The cut off marks for OBC is 250 and you are ahead of that.
