Equivalent courses means any diploma or vocational courses which are equivalent to 12th.
Similarly, if it is stated that a candidate with B.tech graduation degree or it's equivalent are considered to be eligible then it means that a candidate with B.tech or B.E or B.Sc or B.A etc
For your kind information, there is direct admission in techno India salt lake......they just mention WBJEE or JEE MAINS in their official website, just to show off.
