For that you need to clear the AFCAT and EKT exam in the same attempt and also clear the cutoff for both of the exam then only you will get a SSB call for technical branch, then after you need to clear the SSB interview and pass the medical exam and then wait for your name to come in merit list.

Now coming to your second question which is what degrees are needed to be an astronaut.
See, if you want to become an astronaut after joining Air force, then you can be it by performing well in your job be it pilot or any posts and second important thing is you have to show the interest in astronaut related field like volunteer for astronaut related projects and if such situations arise during the works you have to show some skill in it. In fact some institutions related to astronaut prefer Airforce personal more over normal applicants.
Other than that if you normally want to be an astronaut then below is the educational qualification and eligibility criteria needed for it.
I hope this answer helps you.
Al the very best!!
Yes candidate, you can easily become astronaut. In fact, they prefer to select Indian Air Force pilots because it proves you are mentally and physically able to be part of a space mission, which shortens the training period. There are some other requirements too like speaking english language flying experience and some psychological requirements too.
Hope, it helps!

Hey,
The courses offered by NIOS is accepted all over India and there is no condition to reject that.
If you apply for Maths from NIOS then you will be eligible to apply for the AFCAT as well as CDS exam.
You can go to Indian Air Force either by giving the CDS or AFCAT exam.
After clearing the entrance you will be called for SSB and if you get recommended you will be given admission into Aur force Academy.
Hope that helps.
