The eligibility criteria for MNS (Military Nursing Service)/Indian Army BSc Nursing 2022 are as follows -

• Only female candidates are allowed to apply for the entrance exam and subsequently consider for commission. Candidates may be unmarried/divorcee/legally separated/ widow without encumbrances.
• The female candidates must be Indian citizens
• Their date of birth as per their class 10 certificate must be between October 1, 1997, to September 30, 2005 (inclusive of both days).
• They must have passed 10+2 or equivalent (12 Years schooling) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) and English in the first attempt from a Statutory / Recognized Board /University/ Examination Body.
• They must have scored not less than 50% aggregate marks in their 10+2 or equivalent and must have studied as a regular student.
• Candidates appearing for their class 12 or equivalent exam during the current academic session may also apply provisionally.

Fitness Eligibility Criteria -

• The medical examination is mandatory and includes X-Ray examination of Chest and USG (of abdomen & pelvis).
• The minimum height should not be less than 148 cm (relaxation by 5cm for candidates belonging to Western Himalayan region, Eastern Himalayan region and Scheduled Tribes).

Application form for Indian Army BSc Nursing for this year is  yet to get released, and there is no official announcement made as of now, Directorate General of Medical Services is the competent authority regarding conducting this exam, stay updated at the joinindianarmy.nic.in  to know the latest information pertaining to admission schedule.

the eligibility criteria for the same is passed 10+2 from a recognized board with physics, chemistry, biology and english securing 50% aggregate, they are also required to meet the medical fitness criteria as in terms of X-Ray examination of Chest and USG (of abdomen & pelvis). The minimum height should not be less than 148 cm, however relaxation by 5cm for candidates belonging to Western Himalayan region, Eastern Himalayan region and Scheduled Tribes

Admission is done to 220 seats offered in six institutions of Pune/Kolkata/New Delhi/Bangalore/Asvini in the following colleges-

No, you are not eligible for applying for military nursing services. This is because you are required to complete either Master of Science nursing or post basic Bachelor of science or Bachelor of Science nursing from an INC recognised college or university. You must have been also registered as a nurse and midwife from state Nursing Council.

The final selection will be done by a written test which will be followed by interview and medical examination of the candidate. The interview will consist of hundred marks. The questions will be in the format of multiple choice questions. The candidate who qualify as all three stages will be eligible for Indian Military nursing services.

MNS 2022 application form will be available or accessable from the 2nd week of March 2022. Applicants can check out the application form on the official website.

The exam is conducted only once a year. The duration of the examination is 90 minutes. The age limit is 16 half to 24 years.

The minimum educational qualification requirement to join in Military Nursing Service is that you must have passed 10+2 with Biology, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized board. Earlier the candidates who have passed MSc (Nursing) /PB B Sc (Nursing)/B Sc(Nursing) from INC recognized University and registered as Nurse and Midwife from a State Nursing Council were eligible to apply for Military Nursing Service (MNS). But now the selection criteria is based on merit in Indian Army B.Sc Nursing Entrance Examination. SO you have to apply for Indian Army B.Sc Nursing Entrance Examination.
