No GMAT is not compulsory at all. IIFT shall conducted its own entrance exam and admissions are on that basis after which students are shortlisted for GDPI rounds.

No, it’s unnecessary to send your documents via offline mode after filling the IIFT form. In the online portal itself, you can fill in the details and upload your sized photograph. Do make sure to upload your details correctly there. In case, you make a mistake and finally submit it, it can’t be rectified. The offline procedure starts after you convert-call from IIFT.

As per latest information shared by XLRI Jamshedpur, last year around 89,000 candidates applied for XAT out of which approximately 70,000 appeared for the test. 

Yeshe can appear for IIFt entrance exam it he is in final year, however he needs to have cleared all exams and backlogs and must have minimum 50%aggregate marks in graduation during counselling process for admission.

You should definitely fill form and be positive of conversion irrespective of seats for general category. 

Scores above 35.5 is considered as cutoff a sper 2018  hence score above 50 shall be very good for conversion out of 100.

Its never a hindrance. It totally depends on the candidate which exam he thinks is suitable for himself.

There is no further problems that you will face while preparing or while appearing for the colleges that accept these exam scores.

But the only thing is without Cat you cant get into IIMs. Rest is all okay.
