When you have to compare two colleges and have to arrive at a conclusion then you have to choose some of the parameters. This parameters can be a distinct number of events but to conclude this answer I am choosing some of the most important parameters like:

To get into IIIT Allahabad,one should get good rank in JEE Mains. Admissions in IIIT Allahabad is not on 12th marks but it is based on JEE Mains Rank. Top 20 percentile was used as an criteria for appearing in JEE Advanced , although this year they have removed any such criteria because of obvious reasons.

So, In short to get in IIIT Allahabad,you should have good Rank in JEE.

Both Colleges have good coding culture. Most of the students are those who got good rank in JEE-Mains. You can see that both colleges have good Placement record for CSE students.
