As per the last year cut off of IIIT Allahabad the opening score was 628 and closing was 517. And also the cut off of IIIT Banglore was 640. 

So I think you might not be able to get into these colleges.

You might also be able to get new IIITs like IIIT Guwhati, Bhopal, Bhubneshwar and Lucknow to name some, but if you can get into IIIT Allahabad, this probably the best choice available to you.

Coming onto placements, they are totally dependent on two factors

•     Type of College
  

Most of the good companies for computer science like Microsoft, Amazon, Samsung, Flipkart etc. don't visit every college campus, but since IIIT Allahabad is a very well know university specifially focussing on IT and CS field, some of top companies do visit the campus.

The minimum package offered was 3.2 LPA and the maximum was 27 LPA.

The average was somewhere in range of 10-11 lacs.

For M.Tech students, the average was about 15 LPA.

Once again, it is dependent on the skill set. IIIT Allahabad is a good place to be, but you will have to work hard to get a decent package at the end of your M.Tech.
