There are only 8 seats for ST category students for top class education scholarship

Eligibility of Students :

The ST students who secure admission in the listed institutions, according to the norms prescribed by the respective institutions and whose total family income from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.00 lakh per annum, will be eligible for the scholarship under the scheme limited to the number of scholarships allocated to the institutes concerned. In case the number of students admitted exceeds the number of awards, then the scholarship will be restricted to the first 5 students in the inter-se merit list.

Quantum of Scholarship:

The ST students will be awarded scholarship covering full tuition fee and other non-refundable dues in respect of Government/Government-funded institutions. However there will be a ceiling of Rs.2.00 lakh per annum per student for private sector institutions and Rs.3.72 lakhs per annum per student for the private sector flying clubs for Commercial Pilot Training. In addition to the above, the scholarship also provides for (i) living expenses @ Rs.2220/- per month per student subject to actuals, (ii) books and stationary @ Rs.3000/- per annum per student and (iii) cost of a latest computer system along with its accessories limited to Rs.45000/- as one time assistance during the course.

NSP scholarship not given in IIIT Allahabad for any category students, they are providing only list of below scholarships.

1. Post metric scholarship for ST students.

This is for whose parents/guardian income from all sources doesn’t exceed Rs. 2.5 lack per annuam.

Maintenance allowance Rs. 1200/- per month for hostellers and Rs. 500/- for day scholars.

2. PMS scheme for minorities

This is for only whose getting 50% of marks in their previous exams and whose parents or guardian income from all sources not exceed Rs. 2 lacks per annuam.

3. Merit cum scholarship

This is for only who are taking technical and professional course students.

4. Post metric scholarship

This is for the persons with disabilities. The students have more than 40% of disability certified by government.

5. Top class education for ST students scholarship.

6. Top class education for SC students scholarship.

7. Institute scholarship.

Dear aspirant,

There is a scholarship for ST student named " Umbrella scholarship for education of ST children ". The students whose family income from all the sources is less than 2.50 lakh are giving the scholarship for the tuition fee and other things.

The other facilities include study tours chages upto maximum of 1600 per annum and maintenance allowance of 1200 p.m for Hostellers and 550 for day scholars. Additional allowance is provided for the students with disabilities.

As per your query , let me tell you the comparison between IIIT Allahabad and IIIT Lucknow.Actually Indian Institute of Information Technology, Lucknow (IIIT Lucknow) mentored by IIIT Allahabad is one of the 20 IIITs being set up by the Central Government in Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode.IIIT Allahabad was established in the year 1999 and later it was awarded the status of a Deemed University by the Government of India. The Ministry of Human Resource Department (MHRD) recognized IIIT Allahabad as “Institutes of National Importance” and one of the nineteen IIITs listed by MHRD.  At present, IIIT Allahabad offers various UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses in different disciplines. If you go by ranking then nit trichy is best but ranking does not tell the real scene nit allahabad has best average placements among all nits and even better then some iits yes you heard that right and not one these placements in nit allahabad are slowly breaking great barriers and have crossed half a crore mark this year in CSE department but all 3 colleges you  mentioned are good and it more or less depend on you which one to choose. If you are still confused you may go ahead with nit trichy if language barrier is not a problem for you
