Hello Jagan , There are no  placements for mechanical engineering  students as compared to other branches in 2020.  Placements  : About 10 out of 100 students are placed in the  mechanical  branch, and in other branches, nearly everyone is placed.

Although it depends on your interest, VLSI design is much more of a niche technology and offers diverse job profiles with excellent career growth and pay packages in India as well as abroad.

As this is highly specialized domain, it’s quite challenging for new college graduates and thus you can persue because of the Masters degree. You'll just have scratched the surface when are done with your B.Tech courses.

Only those who are willing to put that extra effort can sustain in the long-run because this is not for those who aspire great career with a simple crash course. You need a lot of determination and perseverance to sustain and thrive in ths course of study.

Highest placement in IIIT basar is 12 lpa while for IIIT kancheepuram  is 20 lpa. average package is 17.54 lpa and lower package is 10lpa.

so better option will be IIIT kancheepuram. to get admission into IIIT kancheepuram campus, your jee mains rank has to be below 5k to get any branch for sure.

if you want CSE or ECE or IT then your rank has to be below 1k.

Based on the previous year trends the placements for dual degree students have been on a moderate level.But it is an excellent institution and placements have been increasing every year .So if you try you can get good placements with the maximum salary pa is 10 lakhs and minimum 5 lakhs. Almost 90 percent of the students got placed. The rest chose research and advance study options.

Their CSE branch is of 180 seats and have fees of Rs 2.35 lakhs

They have a 100% placement for 2018-19 for cse branch and median salary is Rs 8 lakhs per annum

Indian institute of technology design and manufacturing kancheepuram is a AAAA rated public university which also has all the facilities which are required on campus.

Their computer science branch is of 60 students and the fees is Rs 5.5 lakhs

Their mediam salary for engineering is around Rs 5.5 - 6 lakhs per annum.

This can be very from college to college so if want to ask about iit or nit then definitely their is a concession in fees for low income family. To get this concession and scholarship benefit then you have to submit your income certificate any other required documents.
