If you belong to general category then it will be very difficult for you to get CSE in IIITDM Kancheepuram however if you belong to some other category such as SC or ST then you can have a good chance of getting this seat provided that seats to this course are empty in the special rounds. IIITDM: Placements: The placements offered were good when compared to many colleges, and many companies are visiting college. The highest package of 10 LPA and the average package of 4 LPA. Best placement overall. The best companies like Ashok Leyland, TCS, etc. Every student wants to do five months internship as a compulsory course. The stipend depends on the project they are doing.
In my opinion IITDM is better. Since IIIT Pune has established few years ago. But final decision depends on your convenience.
IIIT PUNE:. . The college has tie-ups with the IT industry of Pune, and since the course structure is very good, companies started to visit the campus for placements.
dear aspirant,Academics is Pretty good. I cay say this straightforward (especially for Computer Engineering branch, though it’s true in general for other branches as well).Placement at IIITDM Kancheepuram is ‘average’. What it means that most of get placed in range 5lpa to 10lpa. Few cross 10 lpa. These figure will DEFINITELY grow in coming years as we will have more students to be placed. Earlier we couldn’t invite some of the high paying companies due to less strength or all were placed before we could make a call. To inform you - IIITDM students have had company with 35lpa offer.

IIITDM, Kurnool is an Engineering Institute located in Andhra Pradesh.
It offers three courses in 4-year B.E./B.Tech-
The First Batch of this college got placed in 2019.
The Average Package overall was 4.77 LPA.
The Highest Package was 10 LPA offered by Navis.
The Lowest Package was 3.50 LPA.
The Placements are not that great but you can expect that it will grow in 4 years' time as it is a fairly new IIIT.
Teaching is decent, like any other Engineering college.
The professors are punctual and you will not face any problem on that front.

If you have paid for the initial registration and gone for the freeze option in the Josaa counseling you need not worry anymore.
The rest of the fees will have to be paid at the time of admission or a few days before that through online payment.
The rest of the documents are submitted directly at the time of admission.

Placements in the college are on a medium scale. The highest salary offered is 10 lacs per anum and the lowest salary offered was 5 LPA per annum. Students are skilled in design courses so that they can have a learning by doing experience in college curriculum itself. Almost 80% of the students in previous batches were placed in campus interviews.

Certainly if you have got a seat in IIITDM Kurnool and your family income is less than 1 lakh rupees per year then you will get full fees concession. You have to provide a income certificate for the same. However you will have to pay hostel and mess fees along with some other fees that the institute may charge for providing different facilities. These other fees are usually in the range of Rs 10,000 - Rs 20,000 per year.

I am sorry but it is not possible for you to get you preferred college and branch as your rank is quite low. The cut offs, even if they vary after the last rounds, would not make any huge difference and thus you would not be able to get it after round four as well.
