We can't say about placement statistics aboout IIIT chittoor by only 1 year report.

You know this college is estd in 2013 and first placement was on 2017

So more than 50% students were placed and many big companies visited here like Amazon, Hp, Velankani etc .

Whenever you have to choose between a central government funded institute and a private university, never choose a private university. Clearly IIIT sricity is a better option in every aspect including faculty and placement.

I would like to suggest you that among VIT vellore and IIIT sri city, 

VIT is a better option in terms of placements and facilities. Many MNC's come to VIT for recruitment. Children are hired at good packages.

Highest for 2018 batch placement is 22 lacs per annum. Average placement is 7.5 lacs per annum.

Note that placements are still on so the figures may change.

If you are of general category, you don’t have a chance. However, IF you belong to a category other than general, you may have a good chance. I had a rank of about 29k last year and I got CSE because I belong to OBC category. But

unlike other IIIT's i think sri city is not having any concession for SC ST students.
