If you were to take my opinion I don't consider them as one is greater than the other. I think they are absolutely at par. But it's a myth that iim Bangalore is considered to be better as I would the culture there is a bit different from what we get in iim ahemdabad.

Regarding placements , both offers a median package of 22-24L per annum.

Raghuram Rajan is an Indian economist and also former Governor o f Reserve Bank of India. He is also f ormer chief economist at IMF(international monetary fund).

---He was the chief economic adviser to the government of India.

-----He has been awarded with the Deutsche Bank Prize in Financial Economics for his ground breaking research.

The selection criteria to get admission in this course is very tough. At IIMs the candidate’s previous academics and average work experience of 6+ years was given weightage. With its presence in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Kozhikode and Lucknow, IIMs have set a benchmark in the Indian management education .

The fee of this pgpx programme is 30 lakh and the average placement is also stood at 30 LPA,

ISB  -

At ISB, its post-graduation programme is ranked no 1 globally in offering a 1-year management programme. Its campus is situated in Hyderabad and Mohali. The fees of their programme are approximately 40 lakh and the placement stood at 27.13 LPA.

ISB is definitely a costlier option compared to the IIMs.

The one year duration of the program could be a pro as well as a con.

Please explain why you want to pursue that course. If you are unsure, it creates a negative impression. You're willing to give up some years of your life and a lot of money for a course that you're not even sure why you want to do. This is illogical. Try to come up with a legitimate answer to this question. And I can assure you that neither Quora nor Google have an answer for this. Don't memorise the answers your coach gives you. If you are a newcomer, please be prepared to answer questions about your field. You don't have to be a master of your field, but since you've been studying it for four years, make sure you know something about it.

It would be a great opportunity ,If I ever be able to study with such an extraordinary personality. But one of the personality who was able to study with Aditya Khanna has shared his experience.

Khanna (a nickname given by peers) was creative, intelligent, and quite team-spirited. He believed that journey is more fascinating than the destination. My senior also told me that he loved the process of completing the assignments more than the submission. He believed in a Zen approach towards everything. During tough group assignments, he used to tell his group members - “Ho jayega bro, koi tension nai!”. He was spontaneous and had a good sense of humor too.
