For example, you’re a non engineer so you can get calls at 98%ile too. But if you’re not from general category then you can get calls at a lower percentile as well. So be sure to check the cutoffs of the colleges you’re targeting according to the category you belong to.

• SPJIMR: A CAT or XAT score of 85 percentile above is required if you have a good profile, or else a minimum percentile of 96 is required. Further a good performance in interviews and the psychometric test is needed.
• IIM Ahmedabad: A minimum GMAT score of 720 is required to pass preliminary screening. Further, shortlisting takes place after Analytical Writing and Personal Interviews. Final selection takes place on the basis of cumulative score of previous rounds.

Batch Size

• SPJIMR: The college has a fairly decent batch size of approximately 240 students which allows better focus on each student.
• IIM Ahmedabad: Similar to all IIMs, the university has a fairly large batch size of 400-500 students.
