What ranking is good to get to IIM Bangalore and what exam should be written?
To get into IIM Bangalore, you need to appear for the CAT examination, which can only be given after graduation. There isn't any specific rank to get a call from the institution, but if you are a general category candidate, you need to score 99.8 or more and also have good previous academic scores. All the best!
how much percentile required to get a chance in to IIM?
Hello Himel, Greetings!
CAT cutoffs for any individual IIM is not a single number and they vary highly depending on your profile.
IIM-A insists much on diversity so cutoff %ile depends on other people's marks of the same field. Academic scores(10th, 12th and Graduation) above 80–85% is kind of must. In CAT, Mostly for engineers it is above 99 %ile and for fresher boys it is even higher. Non engineer girls with a good profile can expect a call at 96–97%ile also.
IIM-B puts a lot of emphasis on work experience so for freshers it is way too tough. Equal emphasis on Academics like Ahmedabad.
IIM-C is most flexible with work ex and acads compared to A and B. CAT is usually above 99 %ile.
IIM Indore’s call is most specifically dependent on your 10th and 12th marks and those having a low score in it ( below 87–88) should not expect a call at any CAT %ile.
For new IIMs, there is a common interview which you have to appear if you have no call from old IIMs. They usually have a cutoff around 96%ile.
Thank you, hope this helps.

Absolutely you can apply for CAT this year with your mentioned graduation scores. You'll be given a call from a college depending upon your performance in the entrance examination and your past academic records. So do prepare well and try to score more in CAT as your graduation scores are not very decent.

Even if i have passed the required entrance exams, whether i need to pay fees in lakhs?
Hi Medhu!
Yes, even if you pass the required exams, IIMs do charge fees in lakhs. You can know more about the fee structure of different IIMs here: https://www.google.com/amp/s/bschool.careers360.com/articles/iim-fee-structure-and-seats/amp
IIMs are the premium B schools of India and getting an admission into one of them almost instantly offers a job guarantee. This may be the reason for the high fees.
Good luck!
HOW TO GET A ADMISSION .YOUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS .
Well for IIM-B, if you want to pursue a MBA/PGP program, you should appear for cat examination. After the exams, if you score well, then you might be shortlisted for written ability tests and personal interview. After going through these rounds, you will be admitted to IIM-B.
For FPM/PhD program you will have to appear for RAT exam, followed by interview.
Hope this helps.
