Indian Institute of Management Bangalore
Hello Aspirant,
Its obviously IIM Bangalore. Because the IIM A,B,C has the high reputation for MBA and these three colleges have the first three NIRF Ranking 2020. I would suggest you to prepare for CAT and get through the seat for IIM Bangalore. The average salary is about 15 to 20 LPA.
Hope you get a seat in IIM-B.
All the Best!!
Hi Koushik
Predicting your selection IIM Bangalore on the basis of your academics only will not be sufficient. The selection in IIM depends on following factors:
One needs to have a good profile overall and to be on a safe side you must score 99+ percentile to compensate overall and perform well in the Interview. Also Work Experience fetches more points in the selection process.
Dear Aspirant,
To get into top IIMs like A,B,C the student should score above 99 percentile for confirm call from IIM. For reserved category more than 85-90 percentile is safe score. Your academics are quite good. But only CAT percentile will not let you fulfill your dream to do MBA from top colleges. You should also focus on WAT, GD and PI from now.
Hope this helps
One thing that seeps through is your confidence in yourself, which is a very good sign. Your marks may not impress and it is definitely not a true reflection of a student’s aptitude. Having said that the CAT examination is a test of a student aptitude and there is every possibility that you can do well provided you have a flare to excel in their testing pattern. The test consists of three sections:
Verbal Ability/Reading/Comprehension
Data interpretation & Logical Reasoning
Quantitative Ability
We strongly suggest that you do a few mock tests on their website https://nta.ac.in/ which is under the student’s section. Once you understand the pattern then you will be able to access on how to prepare for the examination. The standard is extremely high and even if you are OBC you need to in the above 96 percentile to stand a good chance. The Logical Reasoning is very simple, there are around 3300 seats with 200,000 writing the exam, hence only 1.7% gets in and by correlation 100 – 2% = 98 Percentile. No work experience need at this stage. So now you know what needs to be done!
Good Luck

Thank you
The following colleges have MBA in Supply Chain Management:
UPES College of Management and Economic Studies
Lovely Professional University
Indian Institute of Material Management – Distance Learning
Definitely UPES’s program is ranked much higher, now spend some time understanding these institutions, admission process and then decide.
Assuming that you belong to general category, the percentile you need to get a call from IIM Bangalore and Ahmedabad is 99.96
You are scored on the basis of CAT percentile,10th, 12 th and graduation marks and also your work experience. So the selection is further based on WAT PI.
It is advisable to score 99.96 to even if you belong to category. Your academics marks are decent to get a call.
