Considering the past year trends it is likely that Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta will roll out final calls in a couple of days. Usually the results of the IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Calcutta come out by second week of April. Considering its already second week of April, the results should be out in a couple of days.

As a large number of organizations come for recruitment for various courses. And any IIMC student can appear for any organization irrespective of his course.Average package of IIMC is somewhere around 3lac 60 thousand rupees.

On the other hand Radio mirchi that is one of the most rennouned radio  station comes for college recuirment and provide placement to few student i.e around 8-10 students.

Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) conducts an entrance exam in order to shortlist aspirants for seeking admission in Post-Graduate Diploma Course in Journalism (Hindi & English), Post-Graduate Diploma Course in Radio and TV Journalism, Post-Graduate Diploma Course in Advertising and Public Relations as well as Post-Graduate Diploma Course in Journalism (Odia/ Urdu/ Marathi/ Malyalam). 

Let's see the Eligibility Criteria for IIMC :

• Only Indian nationals are allowed to take IIMC entrance test for admission in PG Diploma courses. 
• NRIs/NRI-sponsored candidates can apply under the International Students Quota wherein 5 seats are reserved for NRIs/NRI-sponsored candidates in each course. 
• Only those candidates can apply for this entrance exam who possess a Bachelors degree (in any discipline). The bachelors degree can be in any discipline. 
• Candidates who have already appeared or who are appearing for a degree exam can also apply for IIMC Entrance Exam.

The registration process for IIMC :

• You can fill the application form for IIMC Entrance Exam in either online (on the official website of IIMC) or offline (by downloading the form from the official website of IIMC) mode. 

The application form for Jamia Milia Islamia is already out. You need to follow the below steps for the registration process :

• Candidates can fill the application form through online mode.
• There is no printed application form available for admission.
• Application process comprises of two parts, i.e. registration and entrance application submission.
• Fee payment can be made using debit/credit card & net banking. 

Eligibility Criteria for JMI :

• Students must have qualified 10+2 examination for UG courses and to apply for PG courses, students must hold a UG degree in the relevant field.
• There will be minimum marks criteria application for various courses. It will be different for different courses.

you can still apply for IIM-C. But eventually you need to get 99 percentile to get a call for gd pi. Entrance exam, class 10th, 12th and graduation is of 50 Points. Rest 50 points depends on GD/PI. So you still have a chance in it.wish you all the best.

Well, Indian Institute of Mass Communication conducts a common entrance exam on an all-India level for admission in PG Diploma in Journalism, Radio & TV Journalism and Advertising and Public Relations. Aspirants appearing for Journalism course admissions will be judged on the below mentioned parameters in the written entrance test.

• General Awareness (including an understanding of social dynamics; interest in social history; awareness of public debates on matters of polity and economy; awareness about international developments influencing power equations in the world and their impact on India.)

Later, in case if you get selected for the written, students will be called for interview. The interview ranges from general questions about world politics, generally.
