HI,

CAT is an exam where students score an enviable 100 percentile as well. It is not essential to get a 100% but then 99 percentile is the score that is the minimum qualifying criteria if you want to get into an IIM.

Hi Akshay!

You have a pretty decent score in both your SSC and BE but there is downhill in HSC. Since you have not mentioned the category you belong to, I'll assume that you fall in the general category and provide you the data accordingly.

Hi pya, the cutoff varies every year based on various factors like, number of seats available, number of test takers, difficulty level of exams etc. However generally the cutoff is around 50 percentile in the top and old IIMs like Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Indore, Calcutta etc. And it is around 40

Since you have mentioned CAT and IIM, I am assuming that you are looking forward to pursuing an MBA.

FIRSTLY, you wont get any admit from any IIMs. these are the premiere B schools in india and provides world class education. 

Now if you cant get into an IIM that means your rest of the question is answered very well.
