I got 75.28% in 10th from and 90% in 12th from board and 70% in b.com from St.xavier college.what are the chance for me to get into iim abc

puneet mahajan 23rd Nov, 2018

Dear Akash

Your marks are fairly average and to get a call from IIM abc you need percentile over 99.5 and that too wont gurantee a call.

But since you are from Bcom and st xavier you have a good chance in new IIMs and other bschools such as MDI

With 78% in 10th , 78% in 12th & 75% in B.Tech how are my chances to get a call from a decent IIM & with what CAT Percentile ?

Aditi Garg 15th Oct, 2018

Hi Aayush,

In order to get IIM calls, you should secure at least 90+ percentile. While old IIMs like IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Lucknow and Indore calls candidates with 99+ percentile, for the newer IIMs, the cutoff is slightly lesser, but still, 90+ percentile is what the cutoff trend is
