Aditya listen to me carefully you have an excellent academic record and while selection in any of the IIMs they don't give any preference to the college from where you have been graduated. After CAT exam every IIM prepares a merit list to call students for next round of interview
Its probably too early to start preparation for CAT or IIM Ahmedabad. Focus on your short-term goals first which is obviously your class X exam.
All the best!
It is really worth to spend a year for IIM.If you missed IIM these year by 5-10 percentile then Repeat CAT one more year instead of taking admission to any average college.Because the career growth after IIM or any other premier BSchool has no comparison.Your life after MBA from IIM
Life of IIM students has no comparison.Because they are placed with such a lucrative packages which a student of average college can get after 10-15 years.and brand name of IIM remains permanent till end of life.An average college student get placed with low package than IIM student and roles offered
You will be needing the following scores on the basis of your academic record:
IIM A - 95+
IIM B - 95+
IIM C - 95+
IIM L - 94+
IIM K - 93+
IIM I - 90+
IIM S - 90+
New IIMs - 87+
