Indian Institute of Management Indore
Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that IPM course from IIM Indore is a better option rather than doing B.Com (//B.Com) from NMIMS and doing MBA later on. If you decide to do MBA later on, there are certain parameters which you need to follow such as scoring exceptionally well in your entrance exams such as CAT,MAT,NMAT,XAT etc. maintaining a good aggregate score in your graduation, participating in extra curricular activities, exceptional achievements and sometimes a good work experience is also needed to build a strong profile so as to improve your chances in getting a call from a top business school.
However, if you get the chance to pursue IPM Programme offered by IIM Indore, it will help you in landing a good job with high package at a lesser period of time. You will be able to possess knowledge of undergraduation and postgraduation management courses from a top notch business school in India.
My suggestion for you is to consider IIM Indore as an option if you are getting the opportunity to study there.
I hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future.
Hello Sharth
I would prefer you to prepare for 5 years integrated program from IIM Indore. As IIM has its own brand name.It provides the chance of making it to the IIM when the competition is extremely less. While almost 2.1 lakh students appeared for CAT in 2018, only about 18,000 appeared for the IPM test in the same year. Comparing it with the B.Tech graduates who pursue an MBA after engineering and spend 6 years in doing so, IPM saves the students’ one year as it gets completed within a matter of 5 years.
So its better to do IPM instead of doing B.com (//B.com) from any reputed college.
Hope This Helps
Good Luck!
(//B.com)

If you are enquiring about IPMAT coaching centers, there are none as such. But there are certain coaching centers that teach you QA. But you can learn it own your own too. You can join any coaching center which trains on CAT, MAT, etc. On the other hand, IPMAT has 2 sections Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal Ability. Now QA has 60 marks allotted and VA has 40 marks. Each correct answer gets you 4 marks and a wrong answer takes away 1 mark in the form of negative marking. Though there has been no official release of any syllabus, based on examinations over the years, it has been concluded that few topics are the most covered,
QA:
Number system, LCM & HCF, Percentage, Quadratic Equations, Binomial Theorem, Functions, Mensuration, Permutation and Combination, Probability, Profit, Loss and Discounts, Simple and Compound Interest, Progressions, Ratio and Proportion, Mixtures and Alligations, Logarithms, Time, Speed and Distance, Time and Work, Trigonometry, Geometery, Problems on Ages, Series and Unitary Method, Set Theory, Data Interpretation and Equations.
VA:
Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, Grammar, Sentence Rearrangement, Sentence Correction, Sentence Completion, Correct Usage of words and phrases and verbal analogies.
Hello,
your score is good until now. You have did your best all the way. For CAT exam, IIM Consider 90% to get an admission.
For IIM Kozhikode:- 75% for CAT,Sectional Cutoff:- 65% for 10th:- 60% and for 12th 60%.
For IIM Trichy:- 78% for OBC-NC
for IIM Indore :- 80% for OBC-NC
for OBC category there will very less relaxation. But there is high competition but number of seats available is very less.
So you have to prepare accordingly and get an admission.
CAT exam score hold a 45-50 % weightage for admission at IIM Kozhikode. You have so good qualification in the rest. If you put more effort into it then you can get it.
Hope it helps!
Dear Aspirant,
You have to first appear in the Common Aptitude Test( CAT ). This is a national level aptitude test for graduates seeking admission into various IIMs all over the country. The test contains of three sections:
Each question have +3 marks for correct attempt and -1 for wrong attempt. You have to score minimum 150 marks for the admission in IIMs.
That too is a long process, you have to have a good previous academic record also to get a call. IIMs call on the aspirant on the basis of the candidate's previous academic performance and CAT score.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
If you want to get admission into MBA program of IIM Indore then you have to have the following academics.
90+ in your 10th, 90+ in your 12th, 65+ in any non engineering graduation, or 75+ in engineering.
After this you have to give CAT( common aptitude test), which is an aptitude test consisting of three sections:
You have 100 questions of +3/-1 marking scheme. You have to score around 160 marks in the exam with individually clearing the cutoff of each section which will be approx 40 marks.
Then the percentile results will be declared and you have to be in 99 percentile for engineering background and 98 percentile for non engineering background.
