Indian Institute of Management Udaipur
Hi Puneet!
There is no specific Cut Off for GMAT/CAT score for joining in IIM Udaipur. You must have a valid, decent score to make your way through. Anyway both GMAT/CAT scores are considered equal here! You can join on the basis of any one's score.
The validity for these exams are 5 years. You should have taken your exams preferably in 2018.
Eligibility to join:
Anyway, the candidate will be selected based on their Demographic Profile, Academic Profile, Work Experience, Score in GMAT/CAT/GRE and Personal Interview.
Hope this is helpful!
All the very best!
Sunil, cut offs change every year depending on various factors. But in 2019, the cut offs for CAT for various Categories across various sections have been as follows:
Category
Overall Percentile
VARC
DILR
PQA
General
80
90
EWS
85
NC-OBC
60
78
SC
50
ST
30
40
DAP
But you need to score a minimum percentile of 95 and above to be considered for the shortlisting process.
You haven't mentioned your Category. Neverthless, IIM Udaipur cut offs are as follows:
IIM Udaipur participates in the Common Admission Procedure. CAP is the final stage in the selection process consisting of WAT and PI rounds. IIM Udaipur gives 55% weightage to CAT score. You should have secured a minimum sectional percentile of 80 in each of the 3 sections like VARC, QA and DILR. The minimum required percentile is 90. The weightage for each parameter is as follows:

So going by this, with your Academics, even if you secure, 98-99 percentile, it is going to be tad tough for IIM Udaipur.
Hello Prabhakar
With 82.92 percentile in CAT and as you have mentioned your academics and it is more than average and also your work experience will be beneficial for you, there are some chances that you will get call from these colleges. It all depends on the sectional cut off in all 3 sections of CAT.
However there are some other top colleges where you can get admission with this percentile, you can check them here https://bschool.careers360.com/articles/what-if-my-cat-percentile-between-80-and-90-do-i-have-any-chance-at-top-b-schools
I Hope This Information Helps
Best Of Luck!!!
hello aspirant,
see as per your score you have really less chances for iims, as iims short listed candidates more than number of 802 percentile. and your graduation marks is really less compares to your 10th and 10+2 marks. so you have really less chances for shortlisted.
hope you may understand.
Getting into IIMs has always been competitive however that has been the case for the general PG course which is based on CAT scores and subsequent WAT and PI. However in recent times IIMs have realized that specialization is the need of the hour. This is result of diverse adoption of technology expertise across industries which has led to tech knowledge becoming the primary driver of performance. What this has led the IIMs to do is partner up with academic partners to develop specialized courses specific to industries. For example, the IIM analytics courses (https://mileseducation.com/analytics/home) by IIM Lucknow are developed together with Wiley innovation council and IIM faculty. Further these courses are customized for business leaders who have the IIM business and data analytics course (https://mileseducation.com/analytics/IIM-Lucknow) while there is another custom Analytics course for finance and accounting professionals (https://mileseducation.com/finance/IIM-Lucknow-Analytics) . Since these courses are exclusively designed for an industry, the enrollments do not see the generic competition based on CAT scores. You can check your eligibility (https://mileseducation.com/analytics/home) and apply for enrollment.
Interestingly these courses give you the IIM Lucknow alumni status as well.
All the best.
Hi Riya,
The cutoff for admission into IIM Udaipur is 80/80/80/90 - DLIR/QA/QA/Overall percentiles. If you are in general category a percentile of 95 should get you an admission into IIM Udaipur. Post this basis your percentile your percentile you shall get a PI+WAT Shortlist. In this stage only 55% weighatge is given to CAT score.
So prepare well and aim for 98%ile and above.

If you are talking about iims then my friend firstly getting into any iims is a huge thing then if you take about facilities like gym and permanent campus then of course you have so because it's Indian institute of management.

Hello Sir! Firstly, congratulations on your son's performance in CAT. As far as IIMs are concerned, it is difficult to get calls from the top 3 IIMs, Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Calcutta as they call candidates with 99.90+ percentile. He can expect calls from the following IIMs:
Apart from IIMs, there are several other private and public B-schools whose cutoff is 97-98 percentile. The list includes B-schools like MDI Gurgaon, SPJIMR Mumbai, IMI Delhi, FMS Delhi (unless they increase cutoff this year), DMS, IIT Delhi, VGSoM IIT Kharagpur etc. You may refer to the following article:
