Automobile Engineering or Automotive Engineering is a part of Mechanical Engineering. Through the application of automotive technology, the course offers specialisation in vehicle designing, repairing, testing and assembling. In this programme, one can also learn safety engineering, quality management and control, automotive analytics as well as assembling and installation of various automobiles. BE/B.Tech in Automobile Engineering is a 4-year programme.This programme also involves the study of courses related to aerospace and marine engineering. It enables the students to explore new areas, create new avenues in the fields of research and development of technologies in the field of automobile engineering. One can pursue M.Tech in Automobile Engineering after successful completion of BE/B.Tech

Spot admission offers will be made to KVPY-SA, KVPY-SX, JEE-Main, IIT-JEE-Advanced and NEET-UGcandidates as per the following cutoffs. This process will be held from 11:00 AM to 6.00 PM on July 24, 2017 at IISc-UG Administrative Building. If you are selected, you will be required to complete the admission formalities including payment of admission fees on the same day and begin attending the classes immediately. Candidates attending spot counseling are required to note that since the number of seats is limited, the chances of getting admission will also be limited. The seats will be filled up based on the rank and availability of the seat. In particular, you are not guaranteed admission. The All India cut off rank for shortlisted candidates in different categories are: 250(General), 4000(OBC-NCL)[not applicable for KVPY], 4000(SC)[not applicable for KVPY], 35000(ST)[not applicable for KVPY], 4000(KM)[not applicable for KVPY] and 4000(PH)[not applicable for KVPY]. (Please note that the above are not category ranks). Those who wish to attend the spot admission/counseling are requested to send an email to the following address along with proof of rank (scanned copy) before 5.00 PM on July 19, 2017. deanugoff@admin.iisc.ernet.in, iiscadmissions16@gmail.com 30th June 2017. Spot admission offers will be made to JEE-MAIN candidates in the OBC-NCL, KM and PH category whose marks are between 200 to 229 in the JEE-MAIN exam. This process will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM on 5th August, 2016. If you are selected, you will be required to complete the admission formalities including payment of admission fees on the same day and begin attending the classes. Candidates attending spot counseling on 5th August, are required to note that since the number of seats is limited, the chances of getting admission will also be limited. In particular, you are not guaranteed admission. 30th June 2016. A counselling session will be held for the selected candidates on July 15,2016 at 11 am at the UG Office in the IISc campus. Please note that participation in the counselling session is mandatory for confirming your seat in the Bachelor of Science (Research) Programme. Admisision to IISc bangalore has three ways :
  • Through kvpy entrance test and interveiw in round 2
  • IITJEE or jee advanced
  • Neet entrance exam
Majority admission is fone through the kvpy entrance exam.

Is there B.tech direct admission for Aeronautical engineering in IISC? ?

first of all, I would like to clarify that IISc does not offer an undergraduate degree in aerospace engineering. you can apply for masters of technology in aeronautical engineering in IISc the eligibility criteria states that one must have completed the bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering after that it further states that one will have to qualify for the GATE aptitude test and then one will have to appear for the personal interview round for further information you can check the official website for the important details

Here there is msc physics

IISC does not offer M.Sc in physics as it has intergrated Ph.D with M.Sc.
