for PhD considering both college life and quality of teaching which college better IISC Bangalore or iit Roorkee

Abhishek Roy 23rd Jan, 2021

I would advise you to pursue PhD from IISc Bangalore over IIT Roorkee. IITs are mostly inclined towards the theoretical aspects of Research in Science and Engineering, whereas, IISc Bangalore works on the in depth research and practical aspects of Engineering. IISc has excellent infrastructure, faculty and research facilities besides having an excellent research potential and employer outlook for PhD Graduates. Ayush 21st Jan, 2021

Hello candidate,

Indian Institute of Science or IISC Bangalore, is one of the highest rated Institutes of the country with a good global ranking as well. It provides admission into several undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in different streams.

The course and the study structure for physics and programming is pretty different, as one who opts for programming best to learn the basics and Advanced versions of Computer technology. Physics students have to deal with the mechanical analysis, practical working aspects of modern machines.

Have a good day.

which institute is best between IISC and IISER Pune for higher study of science as well as for adventures and cool college life.

Abhishek Roy 16th Jan, 2021

Incase you secure certain rank in JEE Main/Advanced or KVPY for Undergraduate or GATE/JAM incase you are applying for Postgraduation, which grants you admission to either of IISc Bangalore or Top IISERs like Pune, Mohali, Kolkata. It is a no brainer to choose IISc Bangalore over any IISER. IISc Bangalore besides having a very strong recurring in terms of faculty, infrastructure, research facilities, employer outlook also has a very rich campus life and peer environment. Bangalore itself is a very vibrant city and is apt for a healthy college life. However, In case you do not make it to IISc Bangalore you may surely choose IISER Pune as your Go-To Institute.
