Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore
No, You cannot. The eligibility criteria for IISC (KVPY) is 75 Percent aggregate in Maths and Science for general category. If you have failed the eligibility criteria then you cannot get into the college even if you top the exam. Minimum eligibility criteria must be strictly achieved in order to get into a particular institution/ exam. As you have not specified, I think you are from general category. If you are from any reserved category then please specify. Minimum eligibility for SC/ST/PWD is 65 percent aggregate in Maths and science.
Hello Iram ,
According to Indian Institute of Science , Bangalore and admission criteria will be set before admission and students have to meet up the criteria to get admission in the college .As you have asked if you can get admission through board exam marks ,then I'm sorry you can't ,you have to qualify and meet the criteria marks in JEE mains or Jee advanced or KVPY .As per eligibility criteria, students who meet the set criteria and have passed the 10+2 examination (or equivalent ) will be given admission.Thank you !
Hi! You can predict your rank based on the total minimum of candidates appeared for the exam. Let's say your percentile is "x". Since, around 9 lakh candidates sat for the exam, hence your predicted rank would be around
(100-x)* 900000/100
I would suggest you to either write your percentile or this nearly correct Rank in the application form
Hello Kunal
No you can not get admission in IISC Bangalore with this percentile score .
Your approximately rank will be more than 1 lakhs but you need to be secure rank under 250 for admission ( or even more) and for this you have to secure 99.97 + percentile.
So good luck.
