In order to take admission in IIST exam you must have 75% aggregate marks in class 12th and at least 65% in case of SC, ST and PD.

Candidates who are desirous to join B.Tech. Programmes in IIST must appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) conducted by Central Board

You can only get admission in IIST through Jee advanced as there is no separate entrance test for the same. Also, they provide 140 seats in total in which 60-60 each for B.Tech Aerospace and Avionics and 20 for dual degree for B.Tech + M.Tech/M.Sc.
