see as per ISRO off campus recruitment notifications for position of scientist B , the eligibility criteria is mentioned in the notification is Candidates must complete BE/B. Tech or equivalent qualification in first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10. however there is no surety that what will be ISRO on campus eligibility and it subjected to change time to time. however IIST considers as one of the best institute In India, so completing your m.tech from iist would surely help you to secure a job in reputed organization, but you must do hard work and sincere to your studies.

Tech or equivalent degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Physical Science, Engineering Science , Instrumentation Engineering, Engineering Physics.
OR M.S./ M.Sc. in Physics, Space Physics, Space Science, Space Science and Technology.
Thus you need to have MSc in Physics to apply for the program in IIST through GATE in any one of these subject: Physics/Electronics and Communication Engineering/Electrical Engineering/ Engineering Sciences. b. Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) in Physics c. UGC NET (Physical Sciences).

As per the admission guidelines of Institute of Spece Science and Technology students are not allowed to use laptops during the first year and thus are advised not to bring their laptops. And students are not allowed to use their mobile phones in the classes or in the premises of the institute. Even they are not allowed to keep their cell phones in the bags during the classes.

IIST offers MASTER OF SCIENCE PROGRAMME in Astronomy and Astrophysics, this is the only M.sc course comes under post graduate course of IIST. the eligibility criteria is as follows:
B. Tech in Physical Science, B. Tech in Engineering Physics, Master of Science / M.Sc. in Physics, Space Physics, Space Science, Space Science and Technology.
OR
B.E/B.Tech in any area with minimum 3 years work experience in Astronomy & Astrophysics or related areas.
however admission notifications is yet to out for 2021.

I assume you want to know about iiest b.tech percentile. To get admission in iist b.tech course, you have to first crack jee main exam, after getting the qualifying score you will be eligible for jee advance. based on jee advance score iiest b.tech admission is done. however cutoff score may depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category and so on.
the qualifying marks for iist is aggregate of 20% in entrance test and in pcm you have to score 5% in each of the subjects of pcm based on previous years eligibility.
