You have not mentioned your category it is important to know because cut off is different for each category. In 2019 the cut off ranks were as follows category wise for B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering in IIST
  • General 801
  • EWS:124
  • OBC: 308
  • SC/ST: 25

Hello Aspirant,


If you get a seat in IIST Thiruvananthapuram, then you'll have to pay the college fee. Security fee will be included in the first year fee only. And you'll also have to pay the hostel fee which h includes the accommodation and mess charges.

madam/sir, my cgpa in btech is 6.49 and iist requires 6.5 . will they consider me if I have a good gate score?

hi,

sorry to say 6.49 is not equivalent with 6.5, thats why you may not apply for many of the iits or psus recruitment, however for sc/st candidates generally cgpa recruitment is 6 out of 10, so try to look for other colleges as per your criteria match.
