i got 68%in boards sc category can i get iist btech+msc if i get good marks in jee

Gps 19th Mar, 2019
Hi pal,
There are no such course like b. Tech +msc, but you can apply for integrated b. Sc (b. Sc +m. Sc) with your jee mains score in iisc or other govt. Colleges. If you wanted to pursue engineering then you have to qualify jee mains for niit's,iiit's and state engineering colleges. for getting admission in iit's you need to qualify jee advance to get admission in b. Tech branch. Your percentage are enough for jee advance. But you have study hard to get good AIR ,so you can get admission in iits.
Hope this will help you.
Good luck.

You can check the previous years cutoff of IIST B.Tech to get an idea about it and also know the factors that go into making it.
Factors influencing IIST B.Tech Cutoff 2019

Based on the JEE marks only you'll get eligible for that

For SC 20-30%

Minimum rank required in jee advanced for admission in iist aerospace

Javid 2nd Mar, 2019
The minimum ranks required to get admission is the cutoff of IIST B.Tech 2019. Candidates who will not have JEE Advanced ranks equivalent to IIST B.Tech 2019 cutoff will have less chances of admission in comparison to those who have ranks more than or equivalent to the cutoff. The authorities will prepare IIST B.Tech cutoff 2019 on the basis of certain influential factors because of which it will vary for each B.Tech programme and category. It is important to know that IIST B.Tech 2019 cutoff will form the basis of admission as candidates will be invited to participate in the counselling procedure on their ranks meeting the cutoff.

Hope it helps you
