Dear student, thanks for your question. To get into IIST YOU have to score very good marks in jee advanced. To briefly say for a General category student 75% in your 12th board examination is must and you must score at least 20% of jee advanced 5% from each subject

It depends upon the JEE Main and JEE Advance cut offs, If You manage to qualify the exam by achieving the cut off, You can apply for JOSAA Counselling. It should be noted the cut off for EWS/SC/ST/FEMALES/OBC category is lower than the general category

There is nothing such a fixed salary for students of IIST, they just signed a born to do some limited time of work for ISRO if they satisfied the criteria but after that they are free to do any work they want so there is no limit that how much

The Salary Package for students those who graduate from IIST will starting from 15,600 to 39,000. This is the basic salary for the students those who graduate from IIST. Anyways the students who graduate from IIST will be joining as a Junior Scientist.

There is no separate Entrance Test conducted by IISC for admission in any course.  Admission into various academic courses like UG, PG, Research, PhD and others are done on the basis of your score in national level entrance exams like JEE exam, NEET, KVPY, JAM, CEED, GATE, etc.

Actually, you should have secure at least 75% marks in the 12th class board exam, or be in top 20 percentile in the 12th class exam conducted by the respective Boards. Then only you can eligible to get NIT colleges and to appear in the jee advanced exam.
