Assuming asking for B.tech IIST takes the admision through JEE Advance. As per the eligibility you should have minimum 75% in class 12th as a general category & 65% as a reserved category. You can check teh further information with the given below link.

For now concentrate on JEE itself… Because the admission to IIST is based on JEE Mains and Advanced itself. And see to it that you get appropriate percentage in class 12th which will ensure your eligibility for admission.

B.tech: Till 2016 all btech student having good CGPA were absorbed by ISRO but from this year(2017) onwards ISRO might come for campus placement but its not sure. So we are approaching companies for placements and succeeding also but it will take some time to achieve 100% placement
