For IIST u need to get minimum 10% in each paper of jee advance to qualify the minimum eligibility criteria…After that on the basis of jee mains rank u will be able to get the seat there…moreover ur open category rank should be around 5—6k to get into there
The cutoff depends on the various parameter like the caste category, Home state quota/ Other state Quota etc. As a General category the chances are less to get admission in NITs, You can try for the private colleges for the desired branch you want to take the admission. You can
