Counselling for IIST will be conducted in an offline mode in the first week of July 2018.
You have to go at counselling venues. You can check the process below
-Registration for counselling after being shortlisted
-Candidates will have to download the admit card for IIST B.Tech 2018
All Gate qualifiers get stipend of Rs.12,400/- so you will get the same in IIST as well and for that you can talk to the college to know what criteria they follow.

IIST takes admission through JEE Advanced. First, you have to qualify for JEE Main exam in order to be eligible for JEE Advanced.
In order to be eligible for IIST you have to get minimum prescribed category-wise marks
1- General category- At least 20% marks in aggregate
it depends on caste and cutoff mark

To take admission in IIST for B.Tech programme you have to appear for JEE Advanced exam.
In order to be eligible you must secured at least 75% aggregate marks in your class 12th in general category and 65% for reserved category.
