Is joining CSE at IIT Varanasi/ Indore is better or joining Electrical at Old IITs is better?

Shreya shrestha 6th Oct, 2020

Hello there,

You should look for your interests, check out the courses being taught under both the domains. Check out the further scope of your career for both the stream.

Speaking about the choice , Electrical at an old IIT is never going to disappoint you, you are getting both a good core branch as well as a top class college.

Take electrical only if you have some inclination towards it. Don't go for a college as there is no point studying something that you are not interested in .

Good Luck!!

What to choose IIT BHU metallurgy or NIT Trichy ECE?

Archita Pathak 6th Oct, 2020

Hello Ashish!

Only those who have experienced the life of both colleges can answer this question correctly, still we can compare them on some grounds :-

FACULTY- IIT receives huge funding, as a result the educational facilities get improvised.

CAMPUS LIFE- life at IIT BHU is quite thrilling with every day packed with surprises. Societies and clubs are quite active here with excellent sports facilities.

OUTSIDE THE CAMPUS- IIT BHU is located in the main city of Varanasi whereas NIT Trichy is 22 kms away from the city Trichy.

FEES- NITs have lower academic fees compared to IITs. But that is based on the funding from government and the amenities provided.

That was my opinion about your query, hope it gave you some clarity!

options: iit goa cse/ iit dharwad cse/ iit ropar mathematics computing/ iit jodhpur cse/ iit varanasi elect/ iit Gandhinagar electrical.

NILUTPOL Student Expert 5th Oct, 2020
Hello,
Based on your options mentioned by you, if you get, then you should go for IIT Varanasi as it is one of the oldest IITs. The faculties are evry well experienced. The Institute is having all the facilities. The IIT Varanasi comes under the top IITs.

IIT Goa and IIT Dharwad are quite new IITs as they were established in 2016. They are yet to grow as the older IITs. The older NITs are much better then these IITs.

Rest of the mentioned IIT were established in 2008. You can also join them if you really want btech CSE. These are also good as they have all facilities and have experienced faculties.

So please choose wisely before joining them.
Consider some seniors to guide you.
Hope it helps

do banaras hindu University i.e,iit varanasi accept nata score?

Shubham Dhane 15th Sep, 2020

Hello,

No Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi does not accept NATA score. As per the IIT BHU admission process, candidates have to first appear and qualify JEE Advanced. Once the candidate qualifies JEE Advanced, they have to register on the official website of Joint Seat Allocation Authority for participating to participate in the JoSAA counselling.  Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi does not offer B.Arch course so it does not accept NATA score.

how many padding bits must be added to a message of 20 characters if 8 bit ASCII is used for encoding and block cipher accepts blocks of 32 bit?

14bce106 6th Sep, 2020

Hi Team,

This is the platform to solve doubts related to career. Kimdly add question regarding that only from next time.

However this time I am clearing your doubt. As you already uploaded the question.

Encoding 100 characters using 8-bit ASCII results in an 800-bit message. The plaintext must be divisible by 64. If MI and IPadl are the length of the message and the length of the pading 32 mod 64. This means that 32 bits of pading (for example, 0's need to be added to the message.

Hope this will be helpful tk clear your dilemma.
