Admission to IIT Bhubaneswar is through IIT JAM entrance exam and students must be either from BTech/BE/Bsc fields from recognised University with minimum 50%aggregate marks in graduation.
Also must have Geology and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in graduation.
Placements are top class with Mining firms like Vedanta, Tata steel, JSW, Schlumberger hiring with average package if 7.6 lpa.
Overall placements ratio not shared officially.

Surely iit Bhu is better than iit bhuvaneshwar ,because it is not fair to compare a new IIT with a 100years old institute with well connected alumini.most importantly placement senario is very good compare with IIT bhuvaneshwar .
So iit Bhu is best in all criteria compared with IIT bhuvaneshwar.
